ABOUT THE STUDIO....Terroso Studio, located near Tenino, Washington, is a studio that produces ceramic lamps and Light fixtures, sculpture, and furniture. Most work is crafted from terracotta clay with accents of glass ,copper, and wood. All work is handcrafted in small lots and glazed with brilliant lead-free colors. Loralin Toney is the lead artist here , but often other artists collaborate or assist in the makings of the work shown on these pages.
ABOUT THE SHOPPE........
Luminosity Lamp Shoppe is the venue in which I sell the new work from the studio. In order to have more free time and keep the cost affordable to customers, I have opened up a quaint showroom/store for you to come view outrageous lamps and light fixtures, ceramic wares, and some other artists work as well.
CURRENT WORK: Gorgeous figurative sculpture Lamps, accent lamps, huge flower light fixtures (including new LED lights), Specialty dishes like platters, espresso cups, cake pedestals, mini mushroom lamps, candelabras, orchid and poppy brooches and more!

I have been creating art for sale for over 25 years. I went to several colleges and worked in a professional artists studio for years, but it was the yearning to create a life unique and sovereign that taught me much of what I have learned. About twelve years ago I began Terroso Studio a studio focused on ceramic as the main medium. In the creation of the unusual,the studio hasn't slowed down a bit! New and exciting wares, sculpture and ideas are always in the making!***
The studio's most recent endeavor here is artful lighting. Handcrafted in terracotta and glazed in spectacular colors, these lights are like nothing you have ever seen! A recent installation in Ceilo Blu (located in Olympia, Washington) includes a ten foot stem lighting, pendant lights and eight foot mirrors with enormous blue poppies. See our Luminosity-artful lighting, page for photos and more information. We have created over 90 light fixtures and lamps custom for our customers and many have come back for more!!!
